Amy PageAmy discovered yoga as an Economics undergrad in 2004, finding that solace on the mat can lead to peace in the mind, even when the mind is cluttered with multivariate calculus. Ever since, yoga has been her method for finding the balance between effort and ease, logic and love. She has spent the past eight years cultivating a strong personal practice and completed her 200-Hour Teacher Training at Bhava Yoga School after several years of waiting for the right opportunity.
After spending years teaching dance, Amy is happy to share her love of movement in a different way, bringing her enthusiastic approach to vinyasa to the Portland yoga community by offering a powerful flowing practice that encourages inner strength and loving devotion, focused on quieting the mind and challenging the body. She hopes to inspire her students to use yoga to discover and travel their own paths to fulfillment. Class DescriptionBlindfold Yoga - An incredible opportunity to turn inward, ground down into your personal practice, and focus on articulation of movement. Removing a sense that we rely on so strongly will encourage you to open your third eye and move from the heart, depending on your intuition for clarity of movement.
