Our systems are all connected. Our physical bodies digest and store our lives and experiences. Our bodies provide information and are a powerful source of insight to our energies, to our health, to our well-being. When we get quiet, we can listen in. And when we stretch, we can work through congested or stagnant areas and move towards renewal and vitality.
Resistance Flexibility Strength Training is the secret sauce to stretching that not a lot of people know about. It is a technique that uses resistance and movement to eradicate unwanted adhesions in the body and to produce healthy connective tissue. Even more effective than self-stretching is partner-stretching - Ally and I are excited to share this fun and collaborative practice with you. Whatever physical activity you participate in or not, RFST is for anyone and can really enhance how you move, feel, and experience being in your body. I have been practicing yoga for over a decade and am a 200 hour trained Yoga Instructor. I have a Level 2 Affiliate Certification in RFST through the Genius of Flexibility, led and created by Bob Cooley. My quest to feel at peace in my own body has led me here and I want that peace for everyone. I believe there are few things we need more than sacred space to move, breathe, connect and be.
