JB Chaim (RYT-500) is the founder of Santosha at Hillholm Estate, the yoga, mindfulness, and writing retreat center housed in an 1895 Gilded Age mansion in Kingfield, ME. She also owns Winter's Table, Hillholm's on-site farm-to-table fine dining restaurant. Formerly a corporate attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP, JB left her breakneck law practice on a path of entrepreneurship and self-discovery. JB is a graduate of Middlebury College and Boston University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine. She is also a certified mediator trained in collaborative dispute resolution. JB is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School (MDiv ‘26). She studies the intersection of Buddhist Dharma, yoga philosophy, and Western mystical and transcendental traditions. With deep gratitude to her teachers, she certified to teach yoga with ShambhavAnanda Konalani in Kona, HI, and Caroline Wybar (RYT-1000) in Deer Isle, ME. JB is an essayist and the founder of the Carrabassett Writers’ Collective. JB designed and teaches the Santosha Series, a 36-pose fixed posture series, accessible for all bodies, ages, and levels of experience. Her mission is to nourish her students' independence as they establish and maintain a home yoga practice rooted in self-acceptance, grounded discipline, and meditative focus.
