Justine Carlisle - Co-Founder, Communications & Partnerships justine@maineyogafest.com
Justine began practicing yoga five years ago to help heal a running injury. Though it was a physical ailment that brought her to the studio, she couldn’t deny the impact her practice had on her spiritually and mentally. After years of pondering, she finally enrolled in a 200-hour teacher training program with Jacqui Bonwell of the Sacred Seeds Yoga School in 2012. As a Registered Yoga Alliance Vinyasa instructor, she hopes through teaching yoga she can help others see the beautiful connection between our physical and mental bodies.
Justine has a degree in history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. She has been working in marketing and communications for more than 15 years, most recently in the non-profit and educational sectors. She specializes in media relations and has added social media communications to her tricks of the trade.

Terri Patterson - Vendors & Volunteers terri@maineyogafest.com
Terri’s first yoga experience was a prenatal class in 2001 and she immediately felt the mind-body connection and wanted to learn more. After years of sports and multiple knee surgeries, a regular yoga practice offered her a physically challenging experience that was also non-competitive and emotionally healing. She is a Registered Yoga Vinyasa Teacher (RYT) through the Sacred Seeds Yoga School with Master Teacher Jacqui Bonwell. She is passionate about helping others discover yoga for themselves with classes that are challenging, transformative, nurturing, and fun.
Terri has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming and a graduate degree from North Carolina State University. Most of her career has been in public health research, primarily focusing on women’s health and mental health services. Teaching yoga has been a beautiful way to integrate her own work and personal experience while helping others find health and balance. She is so excited to work with MYF in bringing together the Maine yoga community for a beautiful weekend of health and wellness.
