Sarah Spiegel - Digital Media Manager sarahevelyn.spiegel@gmail.com
Sarah fell in love with yoga while living in New York City and found she needed something to keep calm and grounded in a place where everything moved so quickly. Yoga became a way to find center. A serious injury several years ago caused her to take a pause from the physical practice of yoga, and focus on the more mindful, meditative practice, and this is something she has continued to carry onto my mat and share with others long after her recovery, teaching classes at several Portland area studios.
Sarah completed her 200-hour Fluid teacher training with Kevan Gale and Betty Riaz at Stil Studio in Dedham, MA in 2012, and will complete her 500 hour teacher training with Fluid Yoga School this spring. Sarah has her undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She has spent the past five years immersed in the yoga community, as a community builder and organizer in New York City, Boston, and now the amazing city of Portland. She feels passionately about bringing people together, and is thrilled to be a part of continuing to celebrate the Portland yoga community by joining the team at Maine Yoga Fest!
