Beginning when the universe slowed her to a stop with a concussion, Sagel has experienced as both practitioner and teacher the immense benefits for well-being, wholeness, and balance these complementary practices bring. Yin bringing space, mobility, and restoration to our connective tissues. The power of Meditation and Yoga Nidra to bring clarity, insight, and openness to the mind and heart. Her teachings are rooted in applied Yogic, Buddhist, and Taoist philosophies, and her classes are designed to develop compassionate observation as a tool to use on the mat and throughout the day to be more fully present for our precious lives.
Sagel's programs are insightful, inspirational, and practical, infused with her heart-full approach and warm, welcoming energy. She cultivates a supportive environment offering a unique blend of guided meditative inquiry, Yoga Nidra methods, and Taoist techniques to help empower practitioners to explore these life-shaping practices in harmony with their own highest wisdom. With a heart of service, her intention is for each practitioner to become their own best teacher and continue to uncover and enjoy the infinite possibilities of the authentically joyful, connected life that is your blueprint and birthright!
An M.Ed. & E-RYT 200/YACEP, Sagel is a life-long educator with more than 2,500 teaching hours of yoga and meditation for almost a decade. Sagel as been leading Yin Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, and Yoga Nidra Teacher Trainings since 2015 and is deeply honored to share these transformative practices across the US and at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. She’s forever grateful for each of her teachers- Jacqui Bonwell, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, Bernie Clark, the Greener Postures Yoga Community, and all her lovely students who continue to teach and inspire her. She relocated to the Sonoran Desert sunshine of southern Arizona and is delighted to return to her home away from home to celebrate the magic of MYF 2020 with you!
