Alex Molo became dedicated to his yoga practice during a pivotal point in his life. After six months of sobriety he enrolled in a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) teacher training program with Corepower in Boulder, CO. Weeks after the end of his 200 hour RYT, he deepened his education by attending a 100 hour extensions program, also through Corepower. By the completion of the training, Alex had embraced yoga as a powerful tool for personal transformation and he was committed to sharing the practice with the community around him. He spent time teaching at Corepower studio in Boulder, CO as well as a sober house and a wilderness program out of Durango, CO.
In August 2012, Alex completed a Baptiste Level 1 teacher training. In the summer of 2014 Alex received his ERYT-200 certification from Yoga Alliance after teaching over 1000 hours. Alex is a member of the Yoga Alliance and an active member in the recovery community in Portland. He helps students to look inside and find strength within. Incorporating the spiritual side of yoga, as well as dedication to the physical practice in everyday life, has been a continuing teacher to Alex. He shares his experience of Yoga from his heart and encourages his students to open their minds and bodies. Alex loves to learn and continues his education by attending workshops on topics such as core strength, inversions, assisting, transitions, and foundations. When Alex is not teaching or practicing yoga, he’s playing outside, under the hood of his truck, covered in dust in his workshop, or going on mountain adventures. |
