In addition to being a yoga teacher, Caitlin is a mother, writer, SUP racer, road cyclist, clinical massage therapist and breast cancer survivor. She has advanced certifications in both prenatal and children’s yoga, and has an extensive background in PranaFlow. A former modern dancer, she fuses her passion for movement and music with her love of traditional yoga; keeping her teaching creative, playful and fresh. Her classes are primarily vinyasa-based and infused with the teachings of the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions and the influences of her teachers Shiva Rea, and Ganga White.

Caitlin is proud to call the tiny island of Nantucket her home, and devotes much of her free time to playing with her son on the beach and pursuing the #SUPlife. She is the founder of Nantucket SUP Yoga, which offers a full array of Fluid Flow Stand-Up Paddle Yoga classes in the warmer months and Strong Girls Yoga, a yoga-based curriculum that seeks to support Nantucket’s young women in the cultivation of self-esteem, mindfulness, and physical awareness. Caitlin is a cancer advocate and blogs regularly about her adventures with long-term illness, practicing yoga and parenting throughout her treatment and recovery. She has also written numerous articles for Elephant Journal and RebelleSociety.com. When she’s not racing around Nantucket on her bike or paddle board, Caitlin teaches workshops and master classes and leads SUP yoga retreats around the world. She is a Team Yogi for Glide SUP, a long-time prAna Influencer, and a newly appointed ambassador for fitness fashion line, Crane & Lion.
