Jessica teaches from a place of personal experience and wisdom, but asks that her students discover their own truths. In classes, she brings a contagious, lighthearted humor while bringing students back to the essential actions and attention that keeps them challenged, engaged, and safe. Jessica has been both a student and performer of various movement arts and competitive sports since the age of 5. She has been a movement instructor of Pilates, various yoga methods, aerial fabric, aerial conditioning, and integrative movement therapy for over 20 years.
She holds a B.S. in Human Physiology from Boston University, completed the Rasamaya method yoga teacher training and Pilates teacher training. Jessica has experience with the circus arts of aerial fabric, aerial hammock, lyra, static trapeze, spanish web, and cyr wheel having much of her training through the New England Center for Circus Arts. Jessica is the co-creator & a Principal Director/Master Instructor of the Cirque Body Method. She is an instructor of Cirque Body Aerial Fabric Yoga & CirqueBody Conditioning at numerous fitness & yoga studio locations throughout New England & runs Cirque Body Teacher Trainings nationally. Additionally, Jessica is a board certified, licensed muscular therapist in full-time professional practice for over 11 years and notably a massage and therapy consultant for Harvard University Athletics & Sports Medicine departments. Jessica's philosophy: Bodywork and movement therapies are life essentials for achieving and maintaining balance of mind, body, and spirit through the integrated practice of presence, stillness, and mindfulness.
