  • About Revive Gatherings from founder, Julia.

I moved to Maine in 2022 without knowing anyone in the community. My kids settled into their new schools smoothly, I unpacked the boxes and settled into our new home and then set out to meet my people.

Where are they? I wondered as I tried groups, meetups, walks, a church, festivals and many more events. I was seeking fellow truth-seekers like myself and wanted some depth. I sought spiritual spaces without conditions or beliefs that I’d need to buy into and couldn’t find one. While I enjoyed all the events I wanted something more, something different, and I couldn’t find the community spaces I was seeking.

It was through my own personal community building efforts and trials that led me to found Revive Gatherings so others seeking spiritually inspired connections and spaces would have a place to go.

We are in the midst of a loneliness epidemic and Revive is my answer to this problem. My mission is to create Spiritual Wellness Centers for our community (and beyond) to foster connection, belonging and soul care. It’s time we start valuing these fundamental needs that are so often overlooked in our “too busy” culture.

Revive is a place where you can prioritize your own spiritual wellness. Together we can bring the village feel back to our community. Revive offers small, intimate gatherings centered around human issues such as relationships, grief, purpose, anxiety, love and fear. Revive brings people together to remember both our unique individuality and our shared humanity.

To thrive as a community, we need to create new inroads back to each other and yet more foundationally build inroads back to connection with ourselves, our souls, and our purpose. Revive is here to support and uplift you which supports and uplifts our entire community.

We are so used to doing things together. Revive believes there’s power and purpose in practicing being together again. When we gather we can build this community together.

  • Riverbend Yoga Studio: A Sanctuary for Community and Connection. Located near the Royal River in Yarmouth, Maine, Riverbend Yoga Studio is a space where movement, mindfulness, and community come together. For mother-daughter team, Diana and Anna Lee, Riverbend is more than a studio—it is a place of belonging, where students of all ages and experience levels can explore the healing power of yoga.

Inspired by Dana Faulds; “There is peace here where the river meets the sea,” we believe yoga, like the river, guides us through life’s ebbs and flows with grace. Our mission is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where all can experience the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga.

Our diverse class offerings ensure something for everyone. We provide Deep Stretch, Yin, and Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and renewal, as well as Vinyasa Flow for those seeking a dynamic, challenging practice. Each class is designed to meet students where they are, whether they seek stress relief, strength, or personal transformation.

Beyond the regular schedule, we foster connection through monthly workshops, offering deeper exploration of yoga’s many aspects, from breathwork and meditation to philosophy and specialized movement practices. These workshops allow students to expand their understanding and cultivate a more holistic yoga experience.

At Riverbend, yoga is more than a practice—it is a way of life. Like the river carving its path toward the sea, we encourage our students to embrace their journey, trusting in the unfolding process of growth, healing, and transformation.

Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you are welcome here. Join us at Riverbend Yoga Studio, where community and connection flow as freely as the river itself.
