MYF encourages green living practices in our community by promoting recycling, discouraging wastefulness and showcasing the natural setting of Maine. The East End Community School was carefully selected as the festival venue because it is a LEED certified energy efficient and green building.

We are excited to announce Garbage to Garden, Maine's only curbside composting organization, will be joining our team!   G2G will be working with us to help reduce the amount of waste generated at the festival, ensuring proper disposal of recyclables and organics, and helping us to create a clean environment for all.

Bring your own water bottle to the Festival and make use of Portland Water District's Portable Drinking Water Station  The fountain that provides a solutions to minimize waste and environmental impacts. ​
