Elaina Wagner is a 500-RYT and a nationally licensed massage therapist. Elaina grew up in both Maine and Massachusetts, and now resides in Scarborough with her husky, Halo. At a young age, Elaina was introduced to yoga by her mother when attending The Portland Yoga Studio. From there, her mother went on to open the first yoga studio in central Massachusetts. Elaina spent years within those four walls before going on to train at age 18. Her experience with Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) was life-changing, and showed Elaina that our pain and mental state can be managed, or even healed through the power of yoga, meditation, visualization and breathwork. With this newfound information, Elaina then went on to teach for the next 15+ years at universities, rehab centers, group homes, retreats, various studios, to athletes and at her business Conscious Cure. After years of listening intently to her students and patient’s challenges as well as their impression of yoga, Elaina saw an immense need for therapeutic based yoga, which developed into Joynt Yoga. Furthermore, Elaina is a chronic pain and TBI survivor, as well a healing guide for chronic conditions; so, she can typically relate first-hand to the population of people that she serves. Elaina hopes that she can bring the healing power of yoga to your mat and can offer a soft place of respite to break up your week, as well as re-fill your cup.
